About Miss Anderson

I'm a 6-8 teacher librarian, YA-enthusist, and nerd. Maybe even a dork. I like playing fake instruments on computer games, convincing my cats to snuggle, and paddle sports. I'll be turning the nerdiness up a notch this fall when I start my Ph.D in Education.

  1. I’m glad you got through Oryx and Crake! I personally loved this book.

    • I did, and I wrote my review…it actually came out really negative. I’m thinking I will like a million times more if/when I reread it in print. It’s been simmering in my brain for a few days.

  2. Love this quote! Love Margaret Atwood! Remember in the movie, “OH GOD!” when George Burns (as God) reassured John Denver (as the human being sent on a mission by Burns) that is was fine that Denver did not got to church: “I don’t, either,” grinned Burns! Speaking of Margaret Atwood, did you see that silly NYT article saying that most YA females do not read science fiction and did not like it? Google it if you need a guffaw and a chuckle of disbelief in your weekend!

  3. I’m an Indonesian muslim. Would it be OK if I also give a comment?
